Yesterday, I walked to from Castrojeris to Boadilla del Camino. The day started with 100 m climb up Alto Mostelares. Very steep! Must be a better way to start a day! The view from the top of the sun rising was fantastic! Hopefully got a good picture of the sub and the mist.

Itś getting/remaining very hot during the day. Wanted to stop at a specific Albergue En El Camino in Boadilla. I had read much about it in Guy Thatcher´s book. Did so and it was well worth it. A beautiful garden, and wonderfully friendly hospitaleria.

Today walked to Carrion de los Condes.... 26 km! Will try and not do that again. So very hot. Also, my feet are taking too much of a pounding. Need to consider a day off soon.

Not many spaces left in the albergues or in the hostels and hotels. Managed to find a lower bunk (YIPPEE!) in Albergue Santa Maria, run by the church next door.


But.... I have now covered over 300 km! Two more days and I am probably halfway to the end.

I am meeting some wonderful, and some not so wonderful, people. Some I will keep in touch with. Still, I do miss my family.
